I’ve been holding out on this final lesson. I was getting some feedback that things were moving too quickly, and I don’t discount that it might feel that way. So I took your fear and met it instead of challenging it.

But then I reminded myself of what I actually know to be true…. time doesn’t have to have a hold on you. It only takes time because you let it.

I KNOW! This is really against the grain, but it’s true. It shouldn’t need to take time, but actually free you from time. It’s nothing more than writing the story, revising that story, and living out of it.

And if it sounds too good to be true, that’s just your old program trying to stall you.

What if you finished this last lesson, or better yet, started back from the beginning with the belief that it doesn’t have to take time or be complicated? Just let it be easy because that’s what’s going to birth this new way of living.

So I present you the final lesson in the Food Freedom Series!

The beauty of food freedom is acknowledging what your mind can dream up when it’s not consumed with food 24/7.

When you aren’t counting, tracking, worrying, restricting, bargaining, or obsessing, you finally have space to imagine and live.

I hope you’re starting to get a glimpse of that. And not just see it but experience it. Because it’s kind of the whole point! To get beyond ourselves and our “problems” to take part in the larger story.

With that said, it’s the perfect time to test it out!

As the holidays approach, I know they tend to bring a sense of fear, pressure, and internal negotiations that leave you overwhelmed by food. But I hope this series is changing that, helping you get back to what they’re meant to be. To help you experience joy and connection. To tap back into your culture and find comfort and delight as you celebrate with family and friends.

That’s why we celebrate.

This year, I don’t want you to just “get through” the holidays. Assuming change will happen in the new year. I want you to be in it. To live it.

To take part in them, to immerse yourself in it, to really experience it and enjoy the holidays in real time, and not from inside the prison your mind has created about food.

So today, we’re going to tie this entire series together, circling back to judgment. Only this time using it to your benefit, not your harm.

First, let’s talk about food obsession:

Food obsession doesn’t start with the eating. It starts with the judging.

But here’s the twist: the same judgment that trapped you is the judgment that can help free you. Of course, that requires shifting how you use it.
