The Health Trends I'm Leaving (And What’s Replacing Them in 2026)
Last year was one of the most transformational years of my life. Here are the things I'm adding and leaving based on how I grew!
I just wrote a blog post on the health and wellness trends that are fading and emerging in 2026. I spent the last month contemplating many options and ultimately landed on these (read the full post here).
If I had to sum up all the things that are leaving in one word, it would be over-(fill in the blank):
Over consuming
Over thinking
Over spending
Over supplementing
Over hacking
Over resting
Over working
Over analyzing
I think we’re maxing out on the over things in our lives and are naturally shifting towards a system of neutrality, which is the desired form of living. But neutrality can only happen when we stop chasing the fix and recognize that we already have what we need within us.
However, knowing that and living it requires us to see health differently.
To see health, not based on its specific parts, but on how those parts function as a whole. It’s understanding how your body works with your mind, and how it all works with your soul.
It’s all of you! And the trends seem to be moving back toward resourcing based on your individual needs.
While those are my predictions for the collective, I thought it would also be fun to share my personal in’s and out’s for the year ahead. Some are based on predictions, and others on my growth and lived experience over the last year.
I’d also love to know what’s on your list! If you don’t have one, I think now is the perfect opportunity to ponder it.
UPDATE: The podcast is coming back (in two weeks!!)
In the upcoming season, we’re going to talk a lot about contemplation and the bigger questions surrounding health. To kick it off, I’d love for you to contemplate what you see as a collective and as an individual regarding health trends.
Not to make another checklist or create a standard of perfection, but to cultivate awareness of what you want to focus on more (move toward) and what you want to focus on less (move away).
5 Things I’m personally leaving (and 5 things I’m moving toward) in 2026:
Last year was a HUGE year of change for me.
Outside the year I was thrust into motherhood for the first time, to which no one can really prepare you for how beautifully hard that is, this past year was singlehandedly the year I experienced the greatest inward transformation.
I not only grew physically healthier, but also mentally and spiritually. I can’t wait to share about this on the upcoming season of the podcast. But for now, I wanted to share a few things that came out of this year.
Specifically, what I was trying to hold onto that wasn’t working and what I’m growing towards. These feel vulnerable, but I think you’ll benefit from them.
