How easily can you talk yourself out of it?

How easily can you talk yourself out of walking?

Or eating healthy?

Or doing the things you know you need (and even want)?

I’ve spent a lot of time pondering this question, and the answer tells me a lot about my own struggles to do the things I know I should.

Because the truth is, what I learned surprised me—and it completely changed the way I approach my health and habits.

This summer, I even had a motto: I can do hard things. It was my effort to will myself into doing things I could otherwise convince myself not to do. Like, get myself out of bed, when it was begging me to stay in.
