I am curious! I have tried for so long to work on my thinking--move instead of exercise, you are enough just as you are, what is my intention, be nice to yourself. I would love to know how you really made the shift.
Honestly, I think a lot of it had to do with when I really started to charge my body in a manner that actually boosted my metabolism. Like no gimmicks, but more sunshine, more intentionality with what was draining my energy, more honesty with myself, and more respect for my deeper heart. At the same time, it was also less "gentle" health. I think we get torn thinking "nicer" to ourselves is often being "gentle" with ourselves, but I found that was leading to worse emotional stability, or what they're calling EQ. The emotional shift in how I thought about and dealt with my emotions also made a huge difference. It's certainly a process, but I think we miss how the battery charge of our body plays a HUGE role in how we think.
This is so true! God provides the air we breathe, water, sunshine, our ability to move, get good nutrition, prayer, and rest. It’s all free! Except food- my shift happened when my doctor told me that Americans are overweight not because of how much we eat, but because we don’t eat food, we eat chemicals:/ I started eating real food that I like and it’s the first time I feel I have a good relationship with food, and can maintain a healthy weight
