One thing I wish I would have learned earlier in my healing journey was that outsourcing my health was never going to heal me (or save me). Outsourcing is a constant tug on a faulty belief system that leaves you believing your body is bad (whether you consciously or unconsciously believe it).
But let’s pause and remind ourselves: If outsourcing health truly worked, wouldn’t we have “cured” illness, disease, and weight issues by now? The reality is, we haven’t. This alone is proof that outsourcing isn’t the solution—it never has been, and it never will be.
Yes, your body might be experiencing problems, but treating it as the problem misses the point entirely. Healing doesn’t come from external fixes; it comes from within. Your body is the only thing that can truly heal you.
The Truth About Healing
Even when you turn to traditional treatments to alleviate symptoms, 99% of the time, it’s still your body doing the work. Consider antibiotics as an example:
Antibiotics don’t directly kill bacteria. Instead, they inhibit bacterial growth or reproduction, giving your immune system the capacity to fight the infection.
Ultimately, it’s your body’s natural defense mechanisms that clear the bacteria.
Antibiotics are a support tool, not the healer. The same is true for nearly every intervention. Medications, therapies, and protocols can support healing, but your body is the one doing the heavy lifting.
That’s why I’ll forever remind you that all healing happens in the same way.
