We continued the conversation of bioenergetic weight loss by discussing reverse dieting, which I expanded on to include metabolic regeneration.

This, I believe, is the most important part of any health or weight-loss journey. Why? Because it ensures you’re fueling your body with enough food and adopting lifestyle practices that encourage energy expansion and metabolic support.

Reverse dieting is the art of eating more—strategically—without gaining body fat. In fact, it can help you maintain or even build muscle mass while creating structure in your routine.

Sadly, this step is often ignored, leaving many unable to lose weight or keep it off.

You were not made to live in a calorie deficit forever.

Your body simply can’t sustain it. Yet, many of us begin our health journeys from a place of depletion, unknowingly setting ourselves up for failure.

True health is about abundance—abundance in food, movement, and life. But to get there, you must approach it with intention and patience. If you’ve been under-eating or living in restriction, the path forward starts with rebuilding your metabolism and relationship with food.
